_
When Prince Maximillian is stricken with an unusual curse, he is cast out and told to find a cure. The problem is, it can be difficult to establish new relationships when you don't know which of six different bodies you're going to wake up with each day. So he seeks out his oldest friend, a noblewoman-turned-scientist named Flora in the city of Clockbridge.
_
He doesn't expect finding a cure to be easy, but he even less expects to be swept up by a bruiser employed by the ruling Guild. But Cormac is much more than he seems at first glance—a bartender, woodworker, and hired muscle—and Max can't help but grow closer to him as he tries not to break the curse but to understand it and how it has affected him.
